ResearchPod transforms research papers into audio podcasts using artificial intelligence. The service includes:
Converting PDF documents into audio format
A free tier with limited daily podcast generation
A premium subscription tier with unlimited access
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use ResearchPod
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must provide accurate information when creating your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
4. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of any documents you upload
You grant ResearchPod a license to process your documents for the purpose of generating podcasts
You represent that you have the right to upload any documents you submit
Generated Content
Podcasts generated from your documents are for your personal use
You may not redistribute generated content for commercial purposes without permission
Our Content
The ResearchPod app, branding, and technology are owned by ResearchPod
You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the App
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Upload content that infringes on copyrights or other intellectual property rights
Use the service to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
Attempt to circumvent usage limits or abuse the service
Share your account credentials with others
Use automated tools to access the service without permission
6. Premium Subscription
Pricing and Billing
ResearchPod Premium is available as a monthly subscription at $7.99 USD (or local equivalent)
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Cancellation
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
Free Trial
If offered, free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription
7. Disclaimers
Service Availability
ResearchPod is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
We may modify or discontinue features at any time
Content Accuracy
AI-generated podcasts may contain errors or inaccuracies
Podcasts are not a substitute for reading original research papers
We are not responsible for decisions made based on generated content
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
ResearchPod is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months
9. Privacy
Your use of ResearchPod is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
